Central Bank of Ireland reporting checklist for payment and e-money institutions

Irish payment or e-money institution · 3 deadlines

Payment and e-money institutions authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland submit quarterly accounts and supplementary returns, normally due a month after each quarter end, and audited annual accounts within 6 months of the financial year end. Their auditor also sends a statutory duty confirmation. This template adds them to Regmindr with the rule behind each one.

Every quarter

The quarterly returns are the accounts return and the supplementary return in XBRL: PIA and PIS for payment institutions, EIA and EIS for e-money institutions. Quarters count from your financial year end, and the Central Bank Portal sets each due date.

Every year

The audited annual accounts are due within 6 months of the financial year end. Your auditor then sends the statutory duty confirmation within 1 month of the date of the audit report, so you enter that date once the report is signed.
