REP008 Conduct Rules report deadline

REP008 reports disciplinary action taken for Conduct Rules breaches by staff who aren't Senior Managers. For most solo-regulated firms the period runs from 1 September to 31 August, and the report is due by 31 October, or the next business day if that falls on a weekend.

Do I still file a nil return?
No. Since 28 August 2025, you don't need to submit a nil return if you have nothing to report, for reporting periods ending on or after 31 August 2025. The task is removed after the due date with no late fee.
Limited permission consumer credit firms
These firms report within two months of their accounting reference date instead.

Whether you took disciplinary action against anyone other than a Senior Manager for a Conduct Rules breach, and if so, details of the breach, the person, the rules breached and the action taken. It's submitted in RegData.
