NMLS MSB Call Report due dates

Check the date against your own records.
Due dates
- First quarter, January to March: May 15
- Second quarter, April to June: August 14
- Third quarter, July to September: November 14
- Fourth quarter, October to December: February 14
Who files
Every company that held an MSB license during the quarter in a state that has adopted the report. It covers money transmission, payment instruments, stored value and virtual currency activity.
The annual sections
Every section is due each quarter except the transaction destination country sections, which are annual and due 45 days after the fourth quarter, with the February report.
State deadlines
If a state sets a different deadline in its own law or rules, you file the full report by that state's deadline. Many states, such as Massachusetts, set the same 45 days for the quarterly report of condition in their own law, and ask for audited financial statements within 90 days of the fiscal year end.
Also on the calendar
The call report sits alongside the NMLS annual renewal and the FinCEN registration renewal.
