FCA periodic fees are invoiced once a year and are due 30 days after the invoice date. Invoices are usually issued between July and September.
Check the date against your own records.
Paying by direct debit
The FCA prefers payment by direct debit. Return the mandate no later than 14 days before the invoice is due.
If you pay late
The FCA charges an extra £250 plus interest at 5% above the Bank of England base rate, from the due date until payment arrives.
Where the amount comes from
Fees are based on the tariff data you report. Retail intermediaries report it in the fees section of the RMAR.
Get reminded before it's due
Regmindr tracks this and the rest of your FCA calendar, and emails your team before each deadline. Set it up from your year end in about two minutes.
